You'll need:
• Fabric (a bit bigger than your frame)
• A wooden frame
• Hammer
• Thumb Tacks
Method:
Lay your fabric right side down and place frame centred on top, taking care to align the fabric print.
Fold fabric top and bottom onto the frame, pulling fairly taught, and hammer into place.
Now repeat for the sides.
Smart!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful and simple! thanks for sharing! I started following you in Barcelona (my hometown) thanks to the blog http://lastejeymaneje.blogspot.com.es. Now I am living in Munich and I have read that you too. What a coincidence! :-) I love your knitted staff!
ReplyDeleteHi Cristina, thanks for your message!
DeleteThanks also for the link to that cool blog. I am living in a small town in the Bavarian Alps, 2 hours from Munich by train. But I was in Munich town recently, it was so nice! We swam in the Isar river... :o) How are you liking it in Munich? It's very different from Barcelona!
Glad you like my knitted stuff, I am in the process of making lots more chunky scarves for my shop at the moment, preparing for the cold German winter!
Best wishes,
Leanne xx
Hallo Leanne! I will take a look at your winter collection ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like Munich a lot, but as you say it is so different from Bcn... the weather, the language and I find it not so hype-modern as Barcelona. On the other hand it is so green, relaxing, and everyday I discover new nice places (shops, cute cafés...) so step by step! It has been a big change, but I am happy of living this experience! :-)
It has to be very beautiful were you live! we (I am married with a German) love hiking and we use to go to the Pre-Alps, the landscape there is so beautiful!!
If some time you come to Munich and wanna meet for a coffee, let me know! I give you my e-mail: cricrigp@hotmail.com
Best wishes,
Cris
Hey Cris,
ReplyDeleteYes, I know what you mean, Munich is very 'pleasant' but not crazy-vibrant like Barcelona. Still, change is always good, I am enjoying my new countryside life after 10 years in London, but I know that one day the city will call me back!
There's loads of great hiking in the area where I live, the region is Ost-Allgäu, so many lakes, rivers, mountains, valleys and castles; so picturesque... Love all the distinct seasons here too and how the landscape changes.
Thanks for your email address, I'll get in touch if/when I am next in Munich :o) Let me know if you are ever in my 'hood!
Have a great weekend,
Leanne xx

What an amazing DIY product you have shared. I also enjoy working on these DIY products. I find peace in working on these art-related projects. I am such a big fan of art that I can work on an art project for hours without getting tired. I sometimes get so busy working on my art projects that I forget about everything else, even my assignments, and I had to avail the university assignment writing service from UK Assignment Service to complete my assignment on time.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a fantastic DIY to create! I appreciate your art, which can help enhance the look of your home without even significant investments of money or time; I would make a similar one as well. I am an artist and love to create different art, which is an excellent source of peace for me; I sometimes get so busy working on various arts that I forget everything else, even my assignments, and have to Pay Someone to Do my assignment for me. At the same time, I freely complete my artistic cravings.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing creative ways to work with fabrics in DIY projects—it’s amazing what a difference the right fabric can make to a space. While I enjoy tackling DIY projects myself, I've recently been thinking about collaborating with a furniture maker near me for a few custom pieces that go beyond what I can create on my own. Especially when it comes to upholstered furniture, having a skilled professional handle the construction and fabric application could really elevate the final look.
